What is Walking Worthy?
Walking Worthy: A Journey to Freedom is an established 24-week program that is intended to guide individuals into greater understanding of self and experience the transformed life that is available through Jesus Christ. The course is divided into two 12 week sessions.
Each lesson is grounded in truth from Scripture and is also comprised of valuable insights from many evidence based sources and years of practical experience.
The material is designed to help people discover areas of struggle that have robbed them of the life of freedom, contentment, and peace that promised through Christ. It is a program designed to help participants confront and resolve areas of incongruence between what they believe and the way that they live.

How Does Walking Worthy Help?
Walking Worthy is not a support group, but rather a therapeutic working group. The difference being that this therapeutic working group is closed (participants must register ahead of time), has a specific set of goals, and is facilitated by licensed counselors to help participants achieve their goals of change. Results have shown, 93% of past participants report a positive change in their life after completing the Walking Worthy course.
In gender specific groups participants use each lesson as a mirror into their lives and discover the impact certain patterns of behavior i.e. rejection, shame, or unresolved hurt have on one’s life and relationships. During weekly 3 hour group sessions, sharing is encouraged and counselors facilitate participants response to the subjects, helping them resolve troublesome behaviors.

Why Walking Worthy?
We live in a fallen world that often presents challenges to living with the abundance of life that Christ promised. The concept for the class is based on Ephesians 4:1 “Therefore I, the prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk worthy of the calling you have received…”
This walk is demonstrated by the responsibility and maturity by which we handle life. It challenges us to live as mature men and women who are not easily deceived.
