Teresa Brown, LPC
Teresa enjoys working with individuals, including adults, children and adolescents as
they navigate life’s challenges. She has extensive experience working with children and
adolescents. Her desire is to offer peace, hope and healing for those seeking help.
Teresa is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Georgia and a member of
the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia. She has also worked as
a School Counselor for over 15 years. She received her Masters degree in Psychology
with a Counseling Specialty from the Georgia School of Professional Psychology and an
EdS in School Counseling from Argosy University.
Teresa is skilled at working with those who have experienced grief, trauma, anxiety,
depression, stress and relationship issues. Her approach to therapy is to first provide a
safe, non-judgemental environment to explore life issues, while discovering healing in
the process. She believes the therapist-client relationship is essential. She offers
evidence-based therapy with a Christ-Centered approach.
Teresa is married to her husband Michael. They have 3 adult children and currently 3
wonderful grandchildren! She enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and loves
to fish! She and her husband are members and worship at Grove Level Baptist Church.
